I have experienced from running an S-Type in Switzerland
My Dealer in Switzerland is aware of all the problems
I have experienced with my S-Type. I asked them to take
into consideration all these faults - many outstanding
- and make me an offer to trade my present S-Type in
for an identical spec new S-Type (January 2005).

The ONLY conclusion I can take
from this Offer is that my Dealer does not want my repeat
custom and does not want my S-Type back. I can find
NO other reason for this
behaviour.
I now cannot ethically, or professionally, sell or
trade my S-Type without first declaring these defects.
(*) Eurotax guide - This is
the guide all dealers in Switzerland use when calculating
2nd hand car prices. This value was calculated online
from EuroTax (Eurotax website).
I also confirmed the Eurotax trade-in price with another
Jaguar Dealer and a BMW Dealer. ONLY my Dealer was 7,000
CHFs lower than the bottom guide price.
